Are You Making Time For The Necessary Steps?

When setting your weekly goals, make sure at least one of them will bring you a step closer to your life's vision.

A series of goals that build upon each other is far more productive than the same number of random goals. First, start by setting a highly compelling destination. Then, set all the intermediary goals that will lead you to this desired location. By setting a series of concrete objectives, you gain a long-term perspective, and a higher purpose for each daily goal. Once set, your enthusiasm, self-esteem and satisfaction will increase every time you achieve a milestone towards the final long-term goal.

Huge accomplishments in your life are the direct results of smaller, daily ones.

So, Just How Committed to High Achievement Are You?

Think about it. How well and how often do you actually do Set Goals Factor 4H? (Calendar Major Milestones.) No question, this is a major driver of personal and professional success.

A high commitment (4H rated 8 or better) suggests you are a person who can see where you're going and knows when you'll get there. You know exactly where you are now, and where you're going next. You stay focused on the importance of each task, because you have the big picture of what you are trying to accomplish in mind. Your daily goals set the stage for long range objectives -- which motivates you to make the most of each passing hour. There is celebration and satisfaction at the end of each week, because you chart your progress along a defined series of desirable milestones.

Or not?

A lack of commitment suggests there is nothing but unknown time and territory between you and your goals. You may have a highly desired goal in mind. You know what needs to get done today -- just to keep up. But there are only uncharted areas between where you are now, and where you ultimately want to go. Without a series of clearly identified objectives -- complete with scheduled deadlines in your calendar -- you have little direction, and no urgency for taking action towards the achievement of your goal.

What happens when you do TQ Factor 4H more frequently?

You have more power. Each goal you reach leads directly to an even bigger one.

You accumulate performance positives like "Logical, Methodical and Practical" -- immediately moving you towards the results you expect.

What happens when you fail to consistently do TQ Factor 4H?

Negatives like "Indefinite, Haphazard and Shortsighted" start to take their toll on your performance -- quickly moving you away from the success you want.
